HAHA Master, signing to Sea of Wood Records, plays a brand of psychedelic electro rock that aims to surprise and satire more than amuse as their name would suggest. The engaging stage presence of sassy lead singer, Fang Fang, backed up by a tightly rehearsed collection of some veteran Yunnan musicians, combine to create a stunning live performance that is both hip and unexpected at the same time. Residence A, an indie rock band formed in Beijing, also has innovative and unique ideas in their work. They released a new album last year and will start a China tour soon. The combination of the two bands promises a wild summer explosion.
