We are very happy to announce that Sea of Wood will be joining this year’s WOMEX, which will take place from October 23rd to October 27th in Manchester. The label will be at booth F22, where visitors will be able to meet us in person and get to see and hear our latest releases (some of them not yet available outside of China!).
What is WOMEX?
WOMEX – Worldwide Music Expo – is the most international and culturally diverse music meeting in the world and the biggest conference of the global music scene. WOMEX is a household name for people who work in the music scene, especially for “world music”. Some of our favorite bands (Tinariwen, Son Rompe Pera, Orchestra Baobab…) made a name for themselves playing at this wonderful yearly celebration of music from all over the globe.
The international team is looking forward to this opportunity to meet the brilliant labels and bands from around the world, looking forward to hanging out at booth F22 and at the pub!
